Select Sheepware Mobile App
Pricing Info – For both Android and iPhone versions of the App, the price in the relevant app store is £1.99 per device on which it is installed.  Once installed, you need to sign up with TGM to enable Select Sheepware on your PC to sync to the Select Sheepware App.  The cost for the link is £100 + VAT per year, or £9.99 per month for anyone who wants to pay monthly.

Latest App update – The Android version is now fully Bluetooth enabled to allow connection to reader. The iPhone version will be fully BT enabled early in January. The latest version released on 19th December has the alert function enabled. The App indicates an alert on an animal in the same way as an Agrident reader where both an audible indicator and an onscreen indicator notifies the user of an alert when an animal is selected.  The alert remains on screen for around 5 seconds and then automatically clears from the screen. This is an improvement over the readers where a user has to press a button every time to get the alert to clear.

Development plan for January.  During January, the App development will focus on sending data to the Agrident readers as well as retrieving data from the readers.  This will mean that when you enter the purchase of a medicine to the phone app, you’ll be able to tap a button and send that medicine into the reader so that you can use the reader for high speed accurate medicine recording using that medicine.
You can find and download the mobile App by searching for Select Sheepware on both google and Apple app stores.

New Organic report in Select Sheepware
For organic producers in Ireland, Select Sheepware now creates and allows you to print the organic movement declaration which is required when selling organic sheep. The report lists the animals and all medicine treatments which they have received during the last 12 months.  This further enhances the organic producer compatibility of the software. Within the recent updates, the setup of medicines section was updated to accommodate organic requirements – organic withdrawal dates and the active ingredient used in the medicines.  The organic treatment report lists all animals individually as required under the organic regulations, rather than single line summarised record of group treatments which is permitted for non organic producers.
