Select Sheepware and EID Readers in Action – Dr Steven Johnston

Steven has the Agrident APR600 handheld reader and the AWR300 stick reader as well as the Select Sheepware software package.  The family flock consists of 250 Performance Recorded EasyCare ewes and ewe lambs which are lambed outdoors. Steven said, “Data is key to the continual genetic improvement of our EasyCare flock. I have trusted Select Sheepware from TGM for over 5 years now, finding it easy to use and very flexible when it comes to identifying different groups of sheep. Along with Agrident readers and a Trutest weigh scale what used to take days can now be done in the matter of hours. The link with Sheep Ireland again makes my life very easy.”
